Department of Telecommunication Engineering celebrates “50th anniversary of World Telecommunication & Information Society Day” on 17 May 2019 This year, theme of 2019 is “Bridging the standardization gap” As this event is celebrated with notion of spreading awareness about the activities of Telecommunication community world wide and worthy speakers are invited from Industry and faculty to highlight progress under given theme The events Chief guest was Prof. Dr. Khan Mohummad Brohi, DEAN Faculty of Civil and Architecture and Guest Speakers were Mr. Imdad Ali, Director General PTA (via Video Link) and Engr. Mehran Memon, Assistant Professor, Telecom Engg, MUET. By taking the opportunity of event, different awards and certificates were distributed, among the highlights were 1st Position secured by Final Year Students under supervision of Engr. Saima Hafeez and Engr. Komal Memon. Certificates were distributed among Teaching Assistant (TA) and Course Participate of RF Planning and Optimazation lead by Engr Yahya Hussain (Telenor RF Engineer)
