NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) in collaboration with MUET and ITU organized a 2-day International Symposium on Emerging Trends and Applications of Optics, Photonics and Lasers (ExTRA-OPAL) at NUST H-12 campus on March 11-12, 2019.
Leading national and international researchers were invited to present state-of-the-art technologies and developments in the fields of optical communications and optical devices. The symposium invited presentations and contributed talks from world-class invited speakers and researchers. Local industry professionals were also invited to participate in panel discussions.
This event also provided an opportunity for young professionals to learn from the leading international authorities about the latest developments and future trends related to rapidly expanding the field of integrated photonics and emerging quantum optics applications.
