Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Uqaili
Professor Dr. Mohammad Aslam Uqaili is an engineer, academician, economist and development professional. He has earned bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in electrical engineering and masters in economics. He has supervised 11 doctoral and 24 masters students. Professor Uqaili has written 13 chapters in international books, 75 research papers in national and international research journals, and presented 56 research papers in national and international conferences. Professor Dr Uqaili has also edited four international books. Prof. Uqaili is currently working as vice chancellor, MUET. Previously, he held positions of pro vice chancellor, registrar and dean, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), MUET, Jamshoro. He is a member on editorial board of several research journals. He has held other positions in the different statutory forums of MUET, Jamshoro.
Prof. Tahir Mahmood Chaudhry

In Healthcare he is strong advocate of, e-health, M-health and has worked very closely in establishing 200 startup companies in the last 3 years, where almost 750 young graduates are employed. E-health alone will manage 500,000 jobs in next 5 years. He has initiated Faculty Development Program focusing Industry Academia Linkage whereby Healthcare is given a special attention as learning and training tool in all the relevant institutions of Pakistan. Tahir Chaudhry is the President & CEO of Falcon Consulting Group, Islamabad. He has been a consulting and implementation member of several of Pakistan’s IT initiatives including IT Policy Evaluation, ISO Certification, CMMi and BS7799 Information Security standards.Tahir has 25years’ experience of IT Infrastructure Development & Support. He is the President, RIPHAH Advisory Council for Excellence and a Member of the Corporate Advisory Council of SEECS NUST and MAJU in addition to having served as judge and mentor on different programs of various institutions. Tahir is also the President, Computer Society of Pakistan Rawalpindi/Islamabad Chapter, by virtue of which he also serves on the Central Executive Council. Engr. Irfan Ahmad graduated in Electrical Engineering (with Hons) in 1971 from the Engineering College, University of Peshawar and later did his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University Aachen in Germany. During his professional carrier of more than 35 years, Engr. Irfan Ahmad has worked in both public and private sectors in Pakistan and in Germany, mainly in the field power engineering and renewable energy.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Rajput
Prof. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Rajput is Professor Emeritus and Ex-vice Chancellor of MUET. He did his bachelors in Electrical Engineering from University of Sindh in 1968. In 1972 he did BS.c in Electronics Engineering from University of Leeds, UK and MS.c in Microwave and Communication from same University in 1973. He did his Ph.D from University of Pittsburgh, USA in 1981. In 1968, he joined WAPDA as Assistant Engineer. He joined Merhan UET as a lecturer in 1969, then was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1971 and Associate Professor in 1974. In 1997 he was promoted to Professor in MUET. In 2003, he was appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro. His research interests are: Data Communication, Image Processing, Computer Vision and Real time application of Processor. More than 100 national and international Research Papers/Journal/Conferences/Publications are in his credit.
Prof. Dr Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry

Prof. Dr. B.S. Chowdhry is a Distinguished National Professor and the former Dean Faculty of Electrical Electronics and Computer Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan. His list of research publications crosses to over 60 in national and international journals, IEEE and ACM proceedings in the area of Intelligent Instrumentation, WSN, Embedded systems, simulation & Modelling, Internet Technologies, Smart Civil Structures. He is member of various professional bodies including: immediate past Chairman IEEE Karachi Section, Region10 Asia/Pacific, Fellow IEP, Fellow IEEEP, Senior Member IEEE Inc. (USA), SM ACM Inc. (USA). He organized several International Conferences including “IMTIC08”, “IMTIC12”, “IMTIC13”, “IMTIC15”, “IMTIC18”, “WSN4DC13”, “IEEE SCONEST”, “IEEE PSGWC13”, and track chair in “Global Wireless Summit (GWS 2014), and Chief Organizer and Co-Chair GCWOC’16, GCWOC’17 in Malaga Spain. In 2015, he also organized two weeks ICTP/UNESCO Regional workshop on “FPGA Based Instrumentation Systems”, fully funded by The Abdus Salam ICTP/ UNESCO first time in Pakistan in which scientist from 27 regional countries were invited for participation.
Prof. Dr. Mukhtiar Ali Unar

Prof. Dr. Mukhtiar Ali Unar is the Dean Faculty of EECE, and Meritorious Professor at Mehran UET Jamshoro. He did his B.E in Electronic Engineering from MUET in 1986, M.Sc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 1995 and Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence from University of Glasgow, UK in 1999. He is an active researcher and teacher since more than past 25 years. He is among first few Higher Education Commission (HEC) approved Supervisors. He has produced 09 Ph.D students and supervised more than 500 M.E Students. He teaches undergraduate, masters and Ph.D degree levels. He has also experience of post doctoral research at University of Strathclyde and University of Glasgow and is member of IEE (UK), IEEE (USA), PEC and other organizations. He has produced more than 60 research papers in Journals and International Conferences.
Prof. Dr. Zubair Ahmed Memon
He is currently associated with the Mehran UET as a Professor Department of Electrical Engineering and Director, Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Mehran UET, Pakistan.
Dr. Zubair Ahmed Memon received B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan, in 1991, 2005, and 2012, respectively. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 publications in International and National (HEC recognized) journals. Dr. Zubair is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Pakistan. He is a life member of Pakistan Engineering Council, member of International Association of Engineers, member of International Association of Engineers Society of Artificial Intelligence, member of International Association of Engineers Society of Electrical Engineering and member of International Association of Engineers Society of Information System Engineering.
